NICKY BAY is a world-renowned macrophotographer based in Singapore. His works have been featured on National Geographic, BBC, WIRED, and numerous other publications worldwide, topped with solo exhibitions in Europe including Senckenberg Museum in Germany and Galerie du Lion in France. Nicky is a regular instructor at Nikon School Singapore, and conducts his own macrophotography workshops in Borneo and other exotic places in Central America and Africa, attracting participants from all over the world, many of whom are advanced photographers themselves. Nicky has put together one of the largest arthropod photo databases in the world, with over 16,000 high‑quality images of spiders alone. Apart from shooting in the field and running macrophotography workshops, Nicky is also the Chief Technology Officer of the QCD Group of companies.
