Mu Mu Aung

Dr. Mu Mu Aung holds a PhD from the Kochi University. Her studies are focused on the taxonomy of Zingiberaceae (ginger family) of Myanmar. Dr. Aung currently serves as research officer at the Forest Research Institute, Forest Department, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, Myanmar. She is involved in the international project “Biological inventory in SE Asia with special attention to Myanmar” initiated by the National Museum of Nature and Science, Japan.
