Luke J. Evans
Dr Luke J. Evans is a tropical ecologist at Arizona State University, having worked with the Danau Girang Field Centre in Sabah since 2011. He conducted his PhD focused on estuarine crocodile ecology in the Lower Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary. His work has highlighted aspects of crocodilian movement, nesting, and landscape genetics of individuals living in fragmented landscapes. He is also a member of the IUCN Crocodile Specialist Group, and the regional vice chairman for the group. Luke is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Asner Lab at Arizona State University’s Center for Global Discovery and Conservation Science, USA.
