Liu Kwok Wai

Liu Kwok Wai（廖國威）was born in Guangdong Province, Mainland China, and studied biology at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He has always had a special interest in wildlife and developed a passion for orchids whilst working for the protection of endangered plant species in the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. In 2001, he began searching for wild orchids to photograph in their natural habitats. With a firm belief that nature is the best teacher, Kwok Wai has accumulated his knowledge of plants directly from the field.
