Joseph K H Koh

JOSEPH K H KOH has been researching on spiders for more than 50 years. He has authored several photographic guides of Southeast Asian spiders and has published many scientific papers describing new species of Singapore and Borneo spiders. Joseph is currently the Chairman of Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF), Singapore; Chairman of the Nature Reserves Scientific Advisory Committee of the Singapore National Parks Board (NParks); a research affiliate of NParks’ National Biodiversity Centre and the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum of the National University of Singapore. Joseph was the immediate past President of the Asian Society of Arachnology. He is a retired Singapore government official, having held various key appointments in the Ministry of Defence, Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs, and served as the head of Singapore’s official missions in Taiwan, Australia and Brunei Darussalam.
