Forest Life and Adventures in the Malay Archipelago

This book contains some brief descriptions of the rich fauna and flora of the great Malay islands, special prominence being given to Borneo. The fauna of the largest island of the Malay Archipelago shows close kinship with that of Sumatra and the Malay Peninsula, these different portions of lands having evidently been at no such very remote geological period more closely connected with each other than at the present day.
